     The Zanden Model 5000 LE is arguably the world's best reference Tube DAC. One of the most organic and musical sounding tube DAC ever built in the history of high-end audio. This work of art you see here is a dedicated high-end 16 Bit DAC for red book CD's only, its does not decode DVD's or any other format other than regular CD's, in other words 98% of your whole CD collection. This gorgeous Tube DAC has AES/EBU though XLR, BNC, 2 RCA Digital Inputs and RCA Analog Outputs. The 5000 Limited Edition consist of a two chassis DAC with an outboard full size power supply, the custom made 16 Bit DAC's and premium tubes. This Limited Edition DAC is the best work of art ever made by Zanden, there is a big difference in performance between this DAC and any other Zanden.

The sound of this stunning DAC is so good that it makes 95% of the DAC's out there sound broken, digitize, mechanical, analytical, cold sounding. I did a side by side test with a nice turntable set up and this Zanden Tube DAC provided a sound as good as the turntable. If CD's is what you listen too on your high-end system and you have notice that the music is not engaging, smooth, natural, unattached consider a move to Zanden Land.
